Autism Speaks

Just me...
It's never been a perfect journey, but I'm stronger for it all, and I praise God for every step.

My name is Sylvia Medina and I am taking part in the Autism Speaks Walk on September 18th here in Houston, TX.

Autism hits very close to our hearts in our family. Both my grandsons have been diagnosed with Autism, Julian is 6 and recently, Jacob was diagnosed at the age of 2. Please help make a difference! This is our life right now, we lean on teachers and family for support and encouragement, but... We know that all families are not as fortunate as we are; they need our help as they continue to search for answers and hope.

Autism Speaks is investing millions of dollars to fund research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure.
You can help Autism Speaks build a better future for families like ours that live with the challenges of autism every day. Every 20 minutes, another child is diagnosed with autism -- that’s less time than it will take to make a donation to help my efforts.

Please click on the hand logo below and visit my personal page to make a donation today!

Thank you so much.

 Autism Speaks Walk 2016
Bless Someone Today

In everything I have pointed out to you [by example] that, by working diligently in this manner, we ought to assist the weak, being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, It is more blessed (makes one happier and more to be envied) to give than to receive.

To have a healthy love walk today, spend time this morning thinking about what you can do for somebody else. Don't wait for God to ask you to do something; take the initiative and say, "Okay God, what can I do to be a blessing on Your behalf today?"
The best days you live are the ones you spend loving other people. Choose a particular person, and think about ways to bless him or her. If you don't know what to dot, just listen to what he or she says, and before long you will hear of that Individual's needs.
